Locally owned and operated since 1992, Carpet Baggers opened its doors after owner & founder Dean Kelly realized the Charleston region had a growing need for a flooring store offering fair prices, knowledgeable staff, and honest services. Since opening his store, Dean has kept it a true family affair, having enlisted the help of his father, Colin Kelly, his sister, Traci Kelly, and her husband, along with his wife, LouAnn, and three daughters. Carpet Baggers is also a part of a worldwide cooperative with over 1,000 stores. Being a part of the Carpet One Cooperative we get to ensure our customers get the best of both worlds: the service of a local business with the selections and savings of a national chain.
